Frank Tufaro will be providing advice on Immunotherapy, Cancer, Bioproduction and Virology to FPG with respect to clinical and scientific matters related to current and prospective clients.
Frank was the longtime CEO of a clinical stage, biotechnology company developing oncolytic virus-driven immunotherapies for cancer. Previously Frank was the President and CEO of Allera Health Products, and the Managing Director at Medigene Inc. He was one of the original founders of Neurovir, Inc. He served as Executive Director of PNP Therapeutics and as CEO and Board Chairman of Nurel Therapeutics.
Frank has a number of Patents and many peer-reviewed publications. Frank has been a Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Department of Ophthalmology at the University of British Colombia in Canada.
Frank received his BSc in Biology and a PhD in Molecular Biology at McGill University. He completed his Postdoctoral Fellow with Dr. Steve L. McKnight at the Carnegie Institution of Washington and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle.
