Edward Greissing has been working informally with Ferghana for several years, advising it with respect to US Government Healthcare Policy, interactions with various US Departments and Agencies plus communications strategy. He formally joined Ferghana as an Advisor in September 2025.

Currently, Ed is President and CEO of ‘Greissing Strategic Advisors LLC’, a strategic advisory group focused on delivering value to Boards of Directors, Management Teams, and Stakeholder Recently, he founded ‘Partners in Patient Health’ to engage and empower patients in their health outcomes.

Ed was a member of the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine’s Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery Working Group of the Action Collaborative on Countering the U.S. Opioid Epidemic. Today, he is a member of the Action Collaborative on Emerging Science, Technology, and Innovation in Health and Medicine.

Ed retired as Executive Director of the Center for Public Health at the Milken Institute in 2020. Previously, Ed served as member of the Executive Committee, Global Leadership Team, and Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Sanofi. He also led Global Government Affairs & Policy for Pharmacia and the Upjohn Company. Mr. Greissing earned an A.B. in History from Holy Cross and M.A. in Congressional Studies & Politics from Catholic University of America.
