Stephen J. Bingham

Steve Bingham joined FPG in 1999 and, as Director, is currently responsible for business development and transaction execution across all life science sectors. Steve is also the FCA Compliance and AML Officer for Ferghana Partners LLP.

Steve has over twenty years of experience in sourcing, evaluating, and transacting value-enhancing, creative deal solutions for emerging, development-stage, early-commercial and mature enterprises operating in the life sciences field in Europe, the US, Japan and the Middle East. He is a team player with a “can do” mindset that is well-practiced in the transaction process on both the buy- and the sell-side for M&A, Corporate Partnering and Private Equity projects having worked on over 100 live client engagements for FPG.

Prior to joining Ferghana, Steve worked in industry for eight years for Unilever, ICI and European Color, predominantly in technology transfer roles, where he was responsible for initiating, evaluating and managing the research, development, scale-up and commercial manufacture of new product opportunities. While at European Color, he was also responsible for sourcing and implementing new technologies.

Steve graduated with a BSc Honours degree in Industrial Chemistry and a PhD in Natural Product Synthesis from Brunel University, London, and a MBA from Imperial College, London (specializing in Corporate Finance). He is both FCA and FINRA authorised.
