Charles Wu joined FPG in 2017 and provides analysis, structuring, and execution of life science transactions across all sectors for transactions in the US and China.
Charles has previously worked at Financial Institution Group of the Investment Banking Division at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China International (ICBC International) in Hong Kong. Prior to ICBC International, he has worked for China Banking Regulatory Commission in Shanghai, providing policy analysis and reviewing cross-border transactions of Chinese banks.
He also worked at the Harvard Business School Asia Pacific Research Center, where he participated in writing HBS cases about companies in Greater China. Before that position, he worked at East West Bank (China) Limited in Shanghai, providing credit review. He is also the Founder and Chairman of TorchLight Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes U.S. – China Relations from academic and educational perspectives.
Charles holds a Master in Public Administration (International Finance) degree from Columbia University. He graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong as a Bachelor in Business Administration (Finance) in 2016.
