Romy Seth joined FPG in 2014 and is responsible for research and analysis related to transaction creation and execution across all Life Science sectors.
Romy has worked for 5 years in financial services and also has research experience. Prior to Ferghana, Romy was an analyst at a Chicago-based private equity firm, Prism Capital, where he conducted valuations, diligence on new opportunities and worked with companies to develop operational strategy, conduct market research, and review potential acquisitions and/or strategic partnerships. Prior to Prism Capital, Romy worked as an Engineer in the Biosciences Division at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). He has also founded a medical imaging company that uses Artificial Intelligence to diagnose medical conditions, Medical Teknologix. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted mathematical modeling research in space flight anemia with the Canadian Space Agency and basic science research in tissue engineering, synthetic biology and respirology with academic labs at the University of Toronto. As a result of his research, Romy has published 10+ peer-reviewed articles and abstracts.
Romy is a graduate from the University of Toronto where he obtained a double degree: (1) B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering (with a minor Bioengineering) and (2) a B.Sc. in Human Biology and Biomedical Toxicology.
